CAD modeled, laser cut and folded airbox to suit 1KZ powered KZJ-78 Prado, made from 3mm marine grade alloy this airbox fits a 9” long pod filter. Built to suit EKL fabrication 4” snorkel
Standard airbox includes:
5052 grade 3mm alloy box
Mounted to both radiator support and inner guard (not just hanging off silicone joiners)
10mm polycarbonate lid
Rubber seal
Stainless fasteners
Stainless hold-down ring
High flow performance foam filter
Water drain
Purge welded stainless intake pipe to turbo
Benefits:
Watertight system from snorkel to turbo inlet
Increased airflow - a must have for running higher boost pressures
easily check filter condition
No modifications to washer bottle or AC lines needed
